Ritual: Earth Activation- Yule, Dec 20th

Yule is held on the shortest day and longest night of the year and celebrates the return of the sun god as he begins growing in strength until the day of the summer solstice. It is also the sabbat which correlates to earth as our connection to earth is challenged by the inhospitable conditions of winter and the hibernation of nature during this time.

In this class we will explore our connection to earth, discuss the active, inactive and overactive qualities of earth energy and create herbal satchels designed to activate earth energy in our lives. We will call in sacred space, meditate and intentionally bring reverent attention to earth and all it represents.
